The Novartis Biotechnology Leadership Camp (BioCamp) is a pioneering three-day seminar that brings the biotechnology sector closer to talented young people from the universities. BioCamp has been sponsored annually by several Novartis affiliates since 2004, and in 2007, the first European BioCamp was held in Switzerland. This year's BioCamp will take place on August 28-30, 2008, at the Novartis Campus in Basel, Switzerland.

At the seminar, 40 selected students (20 from Switzerland and 20 from the rest of Europe) will have the opportunity to learn from leading biotech experts, interact with professionals and work together with other students from various cultures. The students also will be able to explore career opportunities and network with global leaders in the biotechnology sector. Two students from the European BioCamp will be selected to participate at the global Novartis BioCamp on October 24-27, 2008, in Hong Kong.

Novartis will cover all travel and accommodation expenses of the chosen students. The event will be held in English.
